I started reading in 6th grade when I first discovered Percy Jackson, and I haven't stopped since. I enjoy a wide variety of general such as classics, sci-fi, manga, fiction, and the occasional mystery. But I also have other passions outside of reading, like playing the piano and cello (in an orchestra), and fostering little kittens until they are old enough for adoption.

Favorite "stand alone" books include The Ends Of The World by Peter Brannen, The Devil's Arithmetic by Jane Yolen, and Long May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas. Favorite series include the Harry Potter series, the Mysterious Benedict Society series, and whatever the heck comes out of Rick Riordan because he's already written too much to list and I love all of it and he's not stopping any time soon.
